Fifa 12 Player Overall Calculation

Here is rough guide on calculating player overall based on player stats.

INTRO
A players' overall in TEAM MANAGEMENT always remains as that for his NATURAL POSITION, however I have found that if you go into EDIT PLAYER you see a players' overall based on the POSITION HE CURRENTLY OCCUPIES IN HIS TEAM (for the first team only - subs and reserves are listed by their natural position). For example Messi is a 94 Centre Forward, but Barcelona have him employed as a Striker, when you go into Edit Player and scroll to Barcelona he is listed as 92 here. If you go back to Team Management and for example put him as a Goalkeeper, Sweeper, Wing Back etc, quit out and go back to Edit Player - you'll find that here he will be ranked for THOSE positions.
This is the only way to see how a player fares in other positions. This is also how I was able to figure out how the overall stat works for all positions.

HOW TO DO IT

1: Find the values for the 'Scoring' categories for each position. VALUES LISTED BELOW.

2: Multiply each value by what the player has for each of those attributes (Max 99 for each). Example: For a * (Striker). Finishing is worth 20, Attack Positioning is worth 12. Let's be lazy and say he has 90 for each. He would get 20*90 (1800) from Finishing and 12*90 (1080) from Attack Positioning, giving him a cumulative total of 2880 so far. Keep doing this for the rest of his 'Scoring' attributes.

3: Add them together to get his final Total (Maximum 9900).

4: Based on your total, you can find out which OVR range your player falls in.

100-149 = OVR 1
150-249 = OVR 2
250-349 = OVR 3
etc etc until
9650-9749 = OVR 97
9750-9849 = OVR 98
9850-9900 = OVR 99

Ok, onto the coefficients.

All players created in game, 'conform' to these stats, I would assume players from the Creation Centre, once downloaded, will as well. For real-life players I found that a large number of them, particularily the better ones, had more than they would if I had created a new player with their stats. I eventually identified the reason, and can classify them into 4 groups.

This is awkward for me to explain clearly. The coefficients have the same effect, but some OVR stats are essentially bypassed. Each time this happens the real-life players' OVR moves one further ahead of a created players' with the same stats. The numbers mentioned are the numbers missed out when editing the real-life player.

A player = Bypasses stats 25, 51 and 77.
B player = Bypasses stats 34 and 68.
C player = Bypasses stat 50.
D player= Same as created player.

After testing Barcelona and Real Madrid (I'm going through the teams in order of the ones that have the best overall player - Man U + Bayern next).I have these results so far. Bear in mind that I am only testing 80+ OVR players so there may be some 79s and under that are C's perhaps?

A players; Messi, C Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, David Villa.

B players; Casillas, Fabregas, Pique, Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Benzema, Daniel Alves, Busquets, Higuain.

C players; Puyol, Mezut Ozil, Sanchez, Valdes, Mascherano, Kaka, Pepe, Di Maria, Pedro, Marcelo, Khedira, Nuri Sahin, Abidal, Afellay, L Diarra, F Coentrao, R Albiol, R Carvalho, Keita.

D players; Arbeloa, J Callejon.
